Here is the update. I did take Madie to the doctor and she had a major sinus infection. She is feeling better and back to school,thank you Lord! I managed to get in a swim and a bike ride with Kathleen yesterday. Nothing eventful happened, although she does have some new threads and was lookin' good! My husband freaked me out a bit today by trying to get into Ironman Canada. I have done this race about four times and the last one was not pretty. I got struck by the tack monster three times! Some knucklehead had put tacks on the road and I managed to get three flats. I only carry two spares! That left me standing on top of Richter pass waiting for support. The rest of the race I spent trying to make up for lost time, let's just say I walked a lot!

I am getting excited for this weekends race. The weather has been typical for Colorado these days. It is 80 one day and 60 the next. I know the water will be cold and I will wish to switch to the duathlon many times between now and the finish of the swim on Sunday, but it should be fun. My friends Mary Carey and Terri Ary are going to be there cheering us all on. Yes, those are real names and get this they are both married to Brian's!!!
