MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Twas the night before.....Just kidding. It is a family tradition that I will read this to my kids tonight after celebrating the birth of baby Jesus, birthday cake and all. It is not enough that I have baked more cookies and candy to feed China, but now I have to bake baby Jesus a cake! I am excited for the kids, such excitement and anticipation. We have a bit of a problem though, we have yet to visit Santa. Oh it's not that I have not tried to take them. The first time the line was so long I could not find the end of it, and rumor was that people had been waiting in line for 2 1/2 hours. No way! I have patience, I think Ironman teaches you this, but my 6 and 8 year old do not! The next attempt was half hearted, Dad was driving and I mentioned the mall and Santa and he drove the other way. I do not think he has learned about patience yet either! My third and final attempt to take my kids to see Santa, Madison puked for 10 hours! So here we are the morning of Christmas eve and once again I have failed at motherhood. I am out of the running for mother of the year. Maybe things will be better when they open the Wii! Merry Christmas everyone! Cheers!!
