Motocross, sledding and swim meets!

Wow, how time flies when you are not training. It has been so good to reconnect with family and friends. This long holiday weekend was just what I needed to recover. I think I ate an entire pecan pie myself. Friday we went out to the motocross track and had so much fun with the kids. Reiley is finally getting into it more and that is fun to watch. I still am cautious, I think that comes with being a mom. If I am injured who is going to take care of the kids? Saturday it was snowing, perfect for sledding. Now that I am not training I had energy to walk back up the hill 50 times, which meant that I got to sled down the hill too! Great fun! Saturday night was out neighbors 50th birthday party. The first party this year where I could eat and drink whatever I wanted!! Sunday was Madison's first swim meet! She was so excited and proud of her self. I was beaming with pride. I love how she has genuine passion for sport right now. With running she knows what to do and now that she is swimming her ability to pace is amazing. She swam the 25 free, 50 free and 100 free. What can I say she is her mommy's daughter! Today I caught up on some Christmas shopping. First I tried to run, I lasted 11 minutes. I am not ready to run. Then I tried to swim, I made it 15oom and quit. I am not ready to swim. I think I will stick to eating and sleeping! Cheers!
