Track..
It has been years since I have run track. But I have a goal to run this year at Ironman instead of limping/shuffling my way to the finish line, so I ran a track workout today. My friend who is training for Boston was headed to the track so I decided to join her. She was doing 8x 800. I decided that might be too much for my first session so I told her I would do 4 of them. Peer pressure made me do 5 of them. I think she stopped at 6. But I felt very good and strong and I do not think I will be too sore tomorrow. At least I hope not as tomorrow is a long easy ride. After this great track workout I decided to swim. I forget how much I use my arms to run and boy was I tired at the end of Masters. Hungry too, Costco was calling me! Cheers!
