Ouch!!!

For 92 long miles that is what I said. Here is the deal, I have saddle sores. And they hurt. More than having had two babies naturally. I felt great on my ride until I could not sit on the saddle anymore. Oh wait, that was at the bottom of my street. Being in pain for 92 (not the 100 we had planned on) miles takes a lot out of a girl. Yes I had a melt down, a well deserved melt down. I may have yelled a few obscenities my husband's way and for that I am sorry sweetie! So today I will run, 15 glorious miles! Yes it is another beautiful fall day, 88 degrees for the high today and I will post pictures later. My sherpa, aka Kathleen, is going to ride her mountain bike and keep me in line. It should be fun as any adventure with Kathleen is. Cheers!

I think you're crazy...crazy but inspirational.

But I'm glad the weather was beautiful! 88 there is a lot different than our Iowa 88's.

I can't wait to visit for some cool October mountain air! :) HOORAY!

Meltdowns are allowed. I can't tell you how many I've had this year. Take care of those saddle sores. I've never had them, but I've heard how bad they can be! Good luck on the run.
